Workshop on Experimental and Computational Tomography, ESRF Grenoble, 18-20 May 2015.

Dates:
Monday, May 18, 2015 - 23:45
Event Description:

The ESRF workshop was intended to bring together experimental and computational scientists involved in advanced X-ray tomography in the state-of-the-art synchrotron X-ray imaging environment of ESRF.
The program centered around three challenging topics, for which datasets have been made available before the workshop: (i) combined phase retrieval and tomography; (ii) region-of-interest tomography; (iii) limited data and low-dose tomography. A unique feature of this workshop was the hands-on program on the first day, where the participants experienced the actual imaging process at various synchrotron tomography beamlines.
Local organizers: Wolfgang Ludwig, Peter Cloetens, Claudio Ferrero

The EXTREMA COST Action provided reimbursement for 19 participants, covering travel and lodging costs and Local Organizer Support, for a total of € 17.762,80.
